Thank you for your past years’ membership in the Michigan Cosmetologist Association and your support for the New Beginning!

We haven’t had a lot to involve you but with the inception of the Design Team and the response to them, we have a new start. The new Insurance programs have helped some of you hopefully and the Legislative Committee worked to let the Government know how we felt about the tax issues.

In this coming September, we will be having the Annual Membership Meeting in Bay City and you are all invited to attend that as well as the Advanced Cosmetology Participation Workshop with the New Design Team and their creations. Along with this we hope to have a Student Competition too. You will be receiving information on these exciting events soon, so keep the weekend of September22-24 open to attend.

Our Association is open to all liscensed cosmetologists, liscensed nail technicians, cosmetology salon owners and managers, liscensed estheticians and students of cosmetology, manicuring or skin care in Michigan.

We invite anybody interested in the issues and topics that we focus our efforts on, to join us. One voice, one idea or one task completed can make a tremendous impact. We need you and what your life experiences can bring to the National Cosmetology Association of Michigan!

C. Legislative representation and protection supports professionalism in our industry. Saves you time from trying to do this alone.

I ALREADY KNOW EVERYONE I NEED TO KNOW

A. You can never know too many fellow professionals.

B. Exposure to the ideas, knowledge and enthusiasm of others can be priceless.

C. You never know what tomorrow will bring. Networking has made the difference in many a career and at times when you least expect it.

ONE PERSON CAN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

A. More often than not its takes is one person: To introduce a new project

TOO MANY MEETINGS

A. Meetings are voluntary-you decide what to attend and how much you participate.

B. Even if you don’t attend you can be assured that others are looking out for our profession’s best interests.
